London is the easiest and fastest city to fly into, as there are many direct trains every day to Newark-on-Trent.
There are closer airports (Doncaster Sheffield, and East Midlands), but neither have a train station, and both involve buses and trains to get to Newark-on-Trent, which can be time consuming and inconvenient.
The fastest train from London Kings Cross only takes 1hr 15mins to reach Newark and has no changes.
We advise checking train times on the following site: https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
